Chesterwell Co-Op

Chesterwell is a new community of 1600 homes in north Colchester. A Co-Op premium format store, with a barista bar, opened in December 2021 after a twelve-month construction period.

Ceetech were engaged in October for the project management, design and installation of electrical work for refrigeration cases, and CCTV and security systems.

The deadline for completion was fully committed with no room for delays, at a time when supply chains were struggling and once again COVID-19 was on the increase. To manage this, supplies were ordered immediately and held in stock to ensure no delay was experienced. Extra resources were placed on the project at early stages to get ahead and fast track.

Ceetech Awards

Ceetech strongly believes in “do what you say you will do”. This results in them providing excellent customer service, having strong client relationships and a loyal team. Gaining industry recognition for this ethos is the icing on the cake for the team at Ceetech.

The ECA Awards are highly regarded in the industry and Ceetech is proud to be award winners, and be highly recommended, in their categories.

Ceetech won Excellence in Training and Development in 2019 and was highly commended in 2021. Being acknowledged in this way makes a huge difference to the company. It adds to the pride the team feels, knowing that their hard work and dedication is acknowledged outside of the organisation. It attracts the talent in the market when advertising vacancies. It reassures clients that quality is at the heart of Ceetech.

Lawford Primary School

Lawford Church of England Primary School is located in Manningtree, Essex. After a Council-led consultation, it was agreed that the school would increase from a single-entry to a double-entry intake. This resulted in classroom and support space for an additional 120 pupils.

The creation of the building reduced the outside space available to the school. To create the best learning and recreation space both inside and outside, the design was created to maximise light, being aware of security issues and create a new MUGA (multi-use games area). The design resulted in a two-storey block with configuration to the existing building to create a studio space. The expansion includes eight classrooms, as well as toilet facilities, a library and two SEN rooms. The outside space includes scooter and cycle parking and the MUGA.

Hertfordshire University

The University of Hertfordshire is reconfiguring its estate as part of its 2030 Estates Vision.

The aim is to provide more flexible spaces for innovation and learning, facilitating a different way of working and socialising. We had worked for Willmott Dixon on the Institute of Sport building at the University of Hertfordshire. When Willmott Dixon was awarded the contract for The Forum, it made sense for continuity purposes for Ceetech to be on board.
